"seasons of piano ~orchestral colours~" is an extended orchestral reimagining of my 2023 piano ep, "seasons of piano".

by way of background, "seasons of piano" was conceptualised in 2022 as a four movement piano suite exploring seasons in a relationship -- from a playful first meeting in summer by a beverage stand, to the cold war of the icy winter that leads to distance.

the artist Alice Lee created four seasonal illustrations in response to these movements, telling the story of the unnamed lovers and their ebb and flow. her colourful, vibrant illustrations inspired these orchestral arrangements in turn, hence the name, ~orchestral colours~.
